Raw copper ore is fed into a jaw crusher (2) via a vibrating feeder (1) for coarse crushing, then further finely crushed by a cone crusher (3). The crushed ore is screened to a qualified particle size (≤20mm) for grinding.
Qualified ore enters a ball mill (5) for fine grinding, producing slurry with optimal fineness (typically -200 mesh accounts for 65%-80%) to liberate copper minerals from gangue.
The qualified slurry is fed into flotation machines (4). Reagents (collectors, frothers, modifiers) are added to selectively attach to copper minerals, forming froth that is skimmed off to collect copper concentrate foam.
The copper concentrate slurry is sent to a concentrator (6) to reduce moisture content, producing thickened copper concentrate.
The thickened copper concentrate is dried in a dryer (7) to obtain the final high-grade copper concentrate product, ready for smelting.
